How We Started
Thank You Sr. Jacqueline!
Founder, Sr. Jacqueline Verville CSC saw a great need in the Greater Manchester area in 2010 and made it her mission to assist the growing immigrant and refugee population to learn more English and become comfortable in their new homes in America. Assisted by some volunteers, Sr. Jacqueline set up classes in a small corner of the Manchester West library. As the number of students grew, she knew that she needed to find a larger space for classes to take place. With the help of the Southern New Hampshire Planning Commission, the first floor of 438 Dubuque Street was leased and the number of students who could take part in classes grew. With the assistance of the Community Improvement Program through the City of Manchester, we continue to operate at the same location today.
