About Us

About Us

The Holy Cross Family Learning Center is a place where people of diverse cultures from the City of Manchester, New Hampshire, come together to initiate or to continue their education. As a part of this learning, they participate in helping to develop the Center as a place where family values are strengthened, community building is fostered, literacy is nourished, academic performance is raised, and diversity respected and celebrated.

How We've Grown

Prior to opening HCFLC opening its doors October 4, 2010, classes were held at the West Side Community Library from March 9, 2010 to May 27, 2010 where a total of twenty-two students were registered for ESL classes.

In October, 2010, the Center opened its doors to close to fifty registrants with a steady monthly increase in enrollment of over seventy as we reached the end of our first full academic year.

The following numbers indicate the growth during the 2014-2015 academic year, as well as persons from different ethnic groups from all over the world.
